Highly recommended. I created a spray with coconut oil, 10 drops of this, and 10 of wintergreen, which I gifted to my mum. She is thrilled and shares the magic of essential oils. She applies it to her achy neck and shoulder before sleep, sleeping soundly and waking up pain-free. It alleviates her chronic headaches and aids overall wellness with just a drop.

I have a habit of smelling it a bit. I bought it to mix with massage oil for alleviating muscle pain. Mixing it with castor oil and aloe gel, I add wintergreen to create a massage gel, which I apply to painful areas, and I feel the pain has subsided. However, it will stain yellow, so you must be cautious.

Localized pain relief
Good for minor and localised pain. A few applications may be necessary for relief. My wife appreciates this product, as she reacts adversely to most over-the-counter and prescription pain medications.

Post-exercise relief
After skiing, I mix it with jojoba oil or another massage oil and apply it to sore muscles in my legs and buttocks. Following this, my muscle pain was significantly reduced the next day. I recommend it to those who exercise.

Mixed effectiveness
So far, so good. I purchased this oil for my mother and tried it twice on her elbow, which does help relieve the pain. However, it has proven ineffective for her knee.

Mild help
It helps when I use it as is or mix it with a carrier oil for mild muscle soreness and aches. It provides substantial relief, but I’m uncertain if it’s effective for severe pain that requires professional assistance. Two stars for the price.
